Brandon Lesando

 

Brandon J. Lesando graduated with honors from the University of North Florida with a Bachelors of Music in Music Education.  A veteran of the U.S. Navy, Mr. Lesando served for 7 years as a submarine missile technician onboard the USS Rhode Island (SSBN-740 GOLD) and as a formal schools instructor for the Trident Training Facility, Kings Bay prior to matriculating to UNF in 2011. 

 

While at UNF, Mr. Lesando studied horn and euphonium and served as the ensemble assistant to the UNF Wind Symphony and Concert Band.  Since 2007, Mr. Lesando has worked with and volunteered with band programs as an clinician and director in the Northeast Florida area.  From 2012-2014 he served as the band director for St. Augustine High School's Ancient City Regiment and most recently, Mr. Lesando was the Director of Bands at Duncan U. Fletcher High School in Neptune Beach, FL.

Mr. Lesando will be teaching band at Timber Creek Elementary and  band and strings at Morse Elementary in addition to serving as the Assistant Director of Bands and Blue Valley Southwest High School.
